Takapuna Grammar Golf Day

The sixth annual Takapuna Grammar Golf Day was held recently at the Waitemata Golf Club with Bayleys North Shore assisting to organise the day in conjunction with the school’s Parent Teachers’ Association. A staggering total of $5000 was raised on the day which saw a full field of four-strong teams playing a modified Ambrose game.

The money raised will go towards the Community Sports Complex to be developed in the school grounds for the people of Takapuna and Devonport, and also towards landscaping and seating projects around the school.

“It is always rewarding to be associated with groups who are working towards a better community for the North Shore,” says Sue Stanway, director of Bayleys North Shore.

“The Golf Day brought together many people for a relaxed, fun day out and Takapuna Grammar's fundraising efforts were richly rewarded.”
