Mairangi Bay Farmers Market

The car park at the rear of our Bayleys Mairangi Bay office transforms into a bustling hive of activity every Saturday morning between 8am – 12 noon as stall-holders ply their wares at the Mairangi Bay Farmers’ Market.
A new initiative for Mairangi Bay, the market – which started at the end of May – is gaining an avid following with people from the area flocking to buy artisan bread, salmon, bacon, fudge, cheese, olive oil and honey – to name just some of the market fare available.
“For some time now, the Mairangi Bay Business Association has been looking for a site for a weekend food market and our car park is ideal,” says Bayleys North Shore director, Sue Stanaway.
“The Farmers’ Market concept is gaining momentum in communities throughout New Zealand and along with the Browns Bay and Takapuna markets, the Mairangi Bay one looks set to prosper. We are delighted to be in some small way associated with it.”
