Aimes Awards

 

As part of Bayleys North Shore’s commitment to the community they are part of, director Sue Stanaway will once again sit on the judging panel for the annual North Harbour Club’s AIMES Awards which recognise and reward excellence in our young people.

Sue is also a Trustee of the Charitable Trust and says the awards acknowledge excellence in areas of Art, IT, Music, Education and Sport and Community involvement.

AIMES Awards Winners 2009 		 “Applications closed for the Awards at the end of July and the judging panel is in the process of narrowing down the field before interviewing the stand-out people in each of the award categories. It is a rigorous selection process and I continue to be amazed at the wealth of talent our young people have,” says Sue.

“The strength of character they display, the excellence they strive for in their chosen fields and the desire to be the very best they can be is humbling and gives me confidence for the future of our community.”

The 2010 AIMES Awards ceremony will be held on 30 October. Each category winner receives $10,000 and the overall AIMES Award winner (selected from all the category winners) receives $30,000.

Since 1995, the North Harbour Club has generously awarded over $1 million to the young people of the region.
