HOW TO BECOME A SALES PERSON

Bayleys Property College

Bayleys' research and experience shows that the more educated you are in real estate skills and techniques, the more successful you will become.

Therefore, Bayleys Property College has been established to develop and deliver training for the Bayleys team and to foster the personal growth of individual salespeople.

Training is a priority across the Bayleys group as it is important that:

• standards are upheld and maintained

The Property College releases a 12 month training calendar at the beginning of each year which allows people in offices around the country to plan their year in terms of training opportunities. We encourage salespeople to schedule training or upskilling into their year plan as part of their professional development to ensure that they stay at the forefront of the industry.

Bayleys Property College hosts over 100 training days a year, including workshops and courses at Bayleys Maritime Square and regional training visits. In addition, managers in each office provide training for their sales team with support from Bayleys National Training Manager and the training team.

Our flagship four-day Sales Success Course for new recruits is recognised as a great launching pad for those new to Bayleys and our follow-up Sales Success Tune-Up Course is for those salespeople who wish to refresh or improve their sales skills.

A feature of Bayleys' training is personalised training on demand via our Intranet. With over 90 online video modules and other material available 24/7, salespeople can access training material at their leisure.

Training topics include legal issues, contact management, handling objections, sales skills and writing effective advertising.
